Thursday 8 September 2016

7.00pm-8.00pm

Gaelic Bookshop – Mansfield Street, Glasgow

The Gaelic Books Council and the Uist and Barra (Glasgow) Association will be joined by Peggy Imlach, daughter of the late Donald MacDonald. Donald was over 80 when he meticulously handwrote his life story and Peggy took on the task of publishing her father’s story in a remarkable book, From Small Lochs to Great Lakes.

Make sure you join us to listen to Peggy talk of her father – a young soldier who survived the First World War, a remarkable sailor who sailed the Great Lakes of Canada, and a crofter from South Uist. All welcome!
